NOTES FROM THE HOME OPENER
A lot going on upstairs here in press row as we get ready for the opener, but here's what I can tell you briefly as the BEARS prepare for the club's 71st home opener tonight.

Syracuse goaltender Dan DaCosta is on recall to Columbus tonight, so Hershey will face backup Sebastian Dahm tonight. Dahm hasn't allowed a goal this season, but has only played one period against Rochester.

Giroux-Aucoin-Mink are together of course, but Bob Woods wants to keep his third and fourth lines together tonight. Therefore, Grant McNeill gets a starring role on left wing on the second line this evening with Kyle Wilson and Andrew Gordon. Daren Machesney draws his third start of the season as well.

Go Bears!
