The Bears return home looking for offense and looking to right the ship after three straight regulation losses. Friday's loss in Binghamton marked only the second time all season that the Chocolate and White had dropped three straight. To date, they have not dropped four in a row. Bob Woods has elected to give Kris Mayotte his first Hershey start Saturday against a Norfolk team that has lost all seven of its games against the Bears this season. Hopefully the Ads are the cure for what ails the boys.
Here's what else is going on this evening:
-Craig Kowalski will make his first start of the season for Norfolk. Kowalski was just recalled yesterday from Phoenix (ECHL). Two newcomers for their respective teams certainly makes for an interesting storyline tonight. Kowalski has been at Giant Center previous to tonight's game, although he probably won't want to remember it. The Bears defeated he and the Lowell Lock Monsters 7-2 on March 31, 2006. Kirk Daubenspeck won that night, so it was a while ago.
-A shakeup of the third and fourth lines tonight. Chris Bourque will skate on the third line with Osala and Perreault. Francois Bouchard has been given the night off. Greg Amadio will skate on the fourth line as a left winger tonight. Not totally unfamiliar territory for Ammo, he's played up in his previous AHL stops. On defense, Sami Lepisto will sit tonight as Patrick McNeill gets back in the lineup after a two-game absence. |
