| GREENIE, MISH ON "NHL NETWORK" THIS WEEK |
As the Caps prepare to meet the Flyers this evening, a couple of programming notes to DVR this week to watch at your leisure. First, Mike Green will be featured on NHL Network's "A Day in the Life" this Saturday at 4:30 and again Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. Filmed just two weeks ago, the show provides an up-close look at the Norris Trophy candidate as he prepares for a Southeast Division showdown against the Florida Panthers, including his typical day at home and the rink. The episode features Green’s two-goal game against Florida, the sixth game of his record-setting eight-game goal streak. All good stuff to work in this weekend.
But wait, there's more. My old pal and yours Dave Mishkin will be featured this Thursday night on NHL Network's "Voices" series at 7:30 p.m. The producers of the show were in touch with me and also Gregg Mace from ABC-27 quite a bit pulling material together, so there will be a strong Hershey flavor to the show.
If you don't have NHL Network yet, it's time to make it happen this week before this stuff airs. If nothing else, you'll never have to wade through 26 different basketball games to get to hockey highlights ever again. Their "On the Fly" show is more than enough reason to add it, but with Mish and Greenie having their own shows this week, no better time than the present to get on board. You'll be glad you did. |
