According to multiple sources, the Capitals have assigned defenseman Karl Alzner and winger Brandon Sugden to the Bears today. Alexandre Giroux and Keith Aucoin have also been assigned, but must first clear waivers before putting on a Hershey uniform. Both players were put on waivers officially at noon Monday with the intent of both of them coming to Chocolatetown.
The Bears have also announced officially today the 10 players that have been sent to minor league camps from Camp French.
